Atomiq Group is a Dubai-based maritime services group that supports seafarers through three companies. Seaman Books (Atomiq Management Consultancies L.L.C., Dubai) prepares and files seaman book, SIRB and endorsement applications with seven flag-state administrations. Maritime Visas (Atomiq Consulting W.L.L., Bahrain) handles seafarer and crew visas for Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. Atomiq College Pvt. Ltd. (Kathmandu, Nepal), listed by Belize’s maritime registry IMMARBE as a maritime training institute, delivers STCW training. None of the three issues government documents: the flag state or the immigration authority does.

Three companies, one file
A seafarer’s career moves forward on paper. A rating can’t sign on without a valid seaman book and basic safety training. An officer moving to a new flag needs an endorsement. A crew change in Bahrain or Saudi Arabia needs the right visa on the right date. When these sit with three unconnected agencies, one mismatch (a misspelt name, an expired medical, a visa issued for the wrong port) can cost a contract.
Atomiq Group puts all three under one group, with one person owning your file.

What each company does, in more detail
Seaman Books: documentation and flag-state filing (Dubai)
Seaman Books is a documentation support and processing partner. We prepare your application, check every document against the flag’s current requirements, file it with the administration and track it until the document is issued. We work with seven flag states: Panama, Liberia, Palau, Bahamas, Belize, Honduras and St Kitts & Nevis.
What that looks like in practice:
- Seaman books (CDC / SIRB): new, renewal and replacement.
- Flag-state endorsements of officers’ CoCs.
- Corrections where your book doesn’t match your passport.
- Pre-sign-on document checks so problems surface in the office, not at the gangway.
Timing. For Panama, the processing certificate is typically issued in 3–5 business days and is valid for 90 days; the printed book can take up to 25–30 days. Other flags are confirmed per application at quote stage, because each administration sets its own pace.
Price. Each application is quoted individually, with the flag-state’s own fee shown separately from our service fee.

Maritime Visas: seafarer and crew visas (Bahrain)
Maritime Visas is the Group’s visa company, operated by Atomiq Consulting W.L.L. in Bahrain, with support from the Dubai office. It handles seafarer visas, Saudi sea transit visas, Bahrain visit and business visas, and KSA business visas, and coordinates crew changes in Bahrain.
The Saudi business visa usually takes 7–15 working days to process, according to Maritime Visas’ own published guidance. Visas are decided by the immigration authority of each country. Maritime Visas prepares and submits the application; it cannot promise an approval, and neither can anyone else.
Atomiq College: STCW training and certification (Kathmandu)
Atomiq College Pvt. Ltd. is the Group’s maritime training institute in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is listed on the IMMARBE Approved Entities register under Maritime Training Institutes. IMMARBE is the International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize.
Courses offered:
- STCW Basic Safety Training: 5 days, covering the four Table A-VI/1 modules (PST, FPFF, EFA, PSSR)
- STCW refresher training (PST and FPFF)
- Ship Security Awareness
- Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
- Passenger Ship Crowd Management, and Crisis Management and Human Behaviour
- Maritime English
Atomiq College trains you and issues your course certificate. Seaman Books arranges enrolment and prepares the seaman book and flag-state paperwork around it. Training is delivered by Atomiq College in Kathmandu, not in Dubai. What none of us does
Being clear about limits is part of how you can trust a documentation partner.
- We do not issue seaman books, CoCs, endorsements or visas. Flag-state administrations and immigration authorities do.
- We do not guarantee a government decision. We prepare applications to the standard that gets them accepted, and we tell you early if something will be rejected.
- We do not find seafarers jobs or place crew on ships. We get your documents, visas and training ready so you can accept the job when it comes.
- We are not a government office or official registry. If a website looks like a flag-state portal but asks you to pay a private agent, check the administration’s own site first.
For crewing managers and shipowners
Crewing departments send us a crew list and a sign-on date. One file owner then checks every seafarer’s documents (12 checks per person before sign-on), files any missing flag-state documents, arranges visas through Maritime Visas and books required courses at Atomiq College. Flag fees and our service fee are quoted separately per engagement.
See crew documentation services for shipping companies or send a crew list for a free document audit to maritime@atomiqgroup.com.
